I'm sooooo hot...

The heat this past fortnight has been unbearable, hitting almost 47 this afternoon. Unfortunately our air conditioner broke last week, perfect timing eh? I think we had Monty clipped a little too early this/last year as his coat is now a little longer that we expected and the groomer is flat out busy. Rest of the week is low-mid twenties, welcome respite after the numerous forties we've recently experienced.

Uni resumes in a month. Looking forward to seeing how I go finally having some structure and goal. If only getting there didn't involve a train ride, have I ever mentioned how much I hate public transport? Bloody Monash for closing down the Peninsula IT faculty...biggest kick in the nuts ever!

Still enjoying time away from work. I continue to call in and say hi every couple of weeks, even though the work sucked I really miss the people there. Every time I do call in I'm reminded why I shouldn't go back. It's tempting to throw in the towel because I'm currently so unhappy there but with current talk about economic crisis and so many hundreds of thousands losing their jobs perhaps I should consider myself lucky to have a stable job? Will continue to ponder my options over the coming weeks.

Have I mentioned it's hot?

Back on the diet again. Back to counting calories. Back to deciding whether I should buy a treadmill or not. Have spent a little time researching treadmills this past week and with a starting price somewhere around $1000 I wonder if it's actually worth it? To save $1000 I'd only have to put on my sneakers and go for a walk around the block! Maybe an exercise bike would be a better alternative? They start around half the price of a treadmill...but then I could still save that by going for a walk! Oh so many choices!

Hmm...with a lotto draw this Tuesday for $40 million I could afford both a treadmill and a bike...not to mention giving up the job. I could fly to Uni...oh the possibilities! I find it amusing that some who have won the lotto said it's nothing but a burden, I'd still like the opportunity to judge for myself!!!

I don't usually comment on movies here but watched Sex Drive today, pretty good for a laugh but scary thing is I reckon 90% is based on my own life!!!

Can't be bothered typing any more. It's worth reminding you that it's hot.
